Be involved – on stage or behind the scenes!

Lichfield Arts are looking for performers between the ages of 11 – 18 to be featured at the Lichfield Fuse Festival 2021. Successful acts will have the opportunity to showcase their talents during a 20-minute slot on Friday 13th August on the Momentum stage. We encourage all genres of music to register – whether you are a solo artist, in a choir or a band looking for a bit of exposure, we want to hear from you!

As well as performers, we are also looking for budding sound and lighting engineers to work alongside our production team to learn how a gig is put together from the rigging, sound checking, stage management to lighting and live sound.

Be part of our Sound & Light Team

Be involved with the sound and light team and learn from professional engineers how the technical side of live performance works and help the artists on stage look and sound great by helping to run the Introducing Night sound and lighting equipment. An ideal introduction to the behind the scenes aspect of live music.

Perform at FUSE on the Momentum Stage!

Whether you are a soloist, in a choir or in a band, Lichfield Arts Introducing Night is an exciting and unique way to be involved in a community festival. Here is your chance to perform on stage in a professional setting to a live audience and really be noticed! We are excited to offer this opportunity to young people aged 11-18 to showcase their talents at Fuse 2021.

In 2019 at the most recent Fuse, we had a fantastic line up of performers who took to the stage and really enjoyed taking part. The Lichfield Arts Introducing Night was a huge success and since then many of the artists have gone on to perform in other venues and events on the strength of their Fuse experience.

Magnalium – one of the successes of Lichfield Arts Introducing!

Emerging as an exciting new talent during 2019’s Lichfield Arts Introducing outreach project, Magnalium have gone on to perform in many venues across the midlands and are looking forward to more concerts throughout the summer.  They are: Lewis Parton, Matthew Marks, Holly Taylor & Callum Vincent aged 15-17. Influences include a broad range of bands and genres from the Pop and Rock bracket. The band has developed quickly since appearing as part of the Introducing Night in 2019, and are now looking forward to returning to Fuse in 2021 on the Evolution Stage as a main artist! Could YOU be next?

Apply to be part of the Lichfield Arts Introducing Night as either a performer or backstage (sound/light) by downloading the application form and sending us the completed form via the link below. Closing date for applications 1st July 2021.

If you are applying as a performer please also include either a link to a performance (Youtube, Facebook, etc) and/or upload a media file of a performance.
