In The Festival Arena

As well as the fantastic music line-up, arts & crafting, bouncy castles and games, the food traders and Festival Market there will be lots of other activities and performances for all the family to enjoy at Fuse. Here’s what is booked so far!

Art and fun family activities

Wade Street Church and the Little Green Frog Café will be running all sorts of fun activities for young families – creative crafts which will be used to liven up the Fuse Site!

Bhangra Tots

Bollywood and Bhangra moves for the little ones.

Damon Conlan Magician

Combining sleight of hand and comedy to delight, resident Fuse magician Damon Conlan – Jocular Prestidigitator – will be roaming across the festival arena to bring memorable, mirthful and miraculous close-up magic. Catch him if you can…

Emily Rose Galvin

As the currently appointed Staffordshire Poet Laureate, Emily Rose Galvin is delighted to be hosting poetry sessions within the Centrum area.

Flotsom The Fool

Circus workshops for families, teaching skills such as juggling, diabolo, poi, flower stick and loads more – they even have a freestanding slackline for the adventurous to try! And in between all this they will do stilt walkabouts around the site.

Fusion Dance

Fusion are regular performers at Fuse, showcasing a wide range of dance styles– come and watch Team Fusion in action on Friday evening!

A variety of family sporting and physical activities and games, challenges suitable for all ages and abilities.

Mark Fraser Storyteller

Enter the world of dragons, fairies, wizards, pirates and giants! Acclaimed storyteller Mark Fraser will be bringing his books to life with puppetry, masks and performance in the story tent. At night Mark is gone but the weird and odd Jacob Cracker will tell you tales to chill the bone in the (slightly) Spooky Stories session. Suitable for ages 1 – 101 ish.

Pauline Quirke Academy

Watch the kids of the Pauline Quirke Academy perform a flash mob within the Fuse arena! There will also be opportunities for young people to join in musical theatre workshops in the PQA mini-marquee.

Salsa People

Another chance to get your salsa steps perfected with Kate – free one hour dance.

Silhouette Dance Academy

A showcase of dance and gymnastic routines from various age groups.

Yoga Collective

Join the Yoga Collective for free yoga in the Fuse arena. Bring your mat and a bottle of water and get your yoga on! A great way to start your day.

Lichfield Repair Café – Forest Harvest – LoCaL

Come along for a chat to find out more about the Repair Cafe and share your own skills with others. Find out more about LoCaL and Transition community groups too, and join in their free activities!

Forest Harvest will be displaying a range of goodies to avoid plastics such as wax cloths, courtesy of our local bees, and of course honey from their avery in Yoxall. They will also be demonstrating their low carbon credentials with a cloche that provides electricity; and hydroponically grown water cress and water mint using a solar water pump. Stand in front of the panel and everything stops for “mares-tail-tea”!

NCT Nappy Changing/Feeding

The National Childbirth Trust will be with us providing baby changing facilities and comfortable baby feeding areas.
