Google them and you might learn of an attractive roundabout in the great Cumbrian border city of Carlisle. However, this is the loudest roundabout you’ll ever come across.
After taking the turn off the A7 you will probably bump into the seven piece Hardwicke Circus, a rock ‘n’ roll band that is spreading the sweet sound of Rhythm and Blues and Social Music throughout the nation.
Fronted by Jonny Foster they’ve been performing in local pubs and clubs since they were school kids. It’s that hard-earned experience which makes Hardwicke Circus one of the most electrifying young bands in the country. Blending power-packed R&B with genuinely original song writing talent, the band are building a reputation wherever they play.
So far their journey has taken them to Glastonbury, the BBC Introducing stages at Reading and Leeds, some raucous nights in London, a UK & Ireland tour with Country Acid trailblazers Alabama 3 and supporting The Boomtown Rats in Belfast and Dublin.
With plenty of music on its way to the radio stations and personal pleasure devices, they have made it their mission to play up and down the UK and Ireland and contaminate it with an Almighty Groove.
Carlisle and London love ’em – so will you!
