Our opening evening of Fuse will be spectacular! We start as we mean to go on with two stages of music and live performance that will deliver non-stop entertainment. Don’t forget that Fuse isn’t just about being an audience member! The Fuse arena provides plenty of opportunity to take part and enjoy engaging with the arts and our community.



7.20pm – Plastic Fiction
Plastic Fiction were one of the stars of last year’s Lichfield Arts Introducing programme that culminated in a performance in the Momentum Marquee at Fuse 2021. We are now delighted to offer them the opening slot in our main Evolution Marquee!
7.15pm – Momentum Introducing
Lichfield Arts Introducing is an ideal way for young performers to showcase there talents and be involved in the running of their own gig! We provide an exciting platform for young musicians to perform to a live audience
and demonstrate their musicianship in a professional setting.
All evening – Flotsam The Fool Circus Skills
7.55pm – The Vonics
Formed in 2018, The Vonics are a fantastic vibrant five piece power pop/rock band from the heart of the West Midlands. Their original songs have been described as “when Primal Scream meets Slade” and “a nod to the halcyon days of nineties Brit Pop”.
8.30pm – Homecoming
Your friendly neighbourhood four peice pop punk band, born from a love of Disney covers and not taking life too seriously, who will make you want to dance, sing and jump!
All evening – The Bubble and Games Man
Simon Smolenskis offers giant bubbles and fantastic handmade wooden games specially designed for children with special needs.
9.15pm – Blue Nation
Euphoric three-piece Blue Nation have exploded on to the scene since winning the Introducing Stage at the Great British Rock & Blues Festival. They deliver riff-based melodic blues rock from a reservoir of influences, including The Beatles, Cream, Zeppelin, 90s brit pop and Rival Sons to create their own memorable sound.
