Lichfield Arts has worked hard to keep Fuse FREE to everyone, a proud achievement for a local charity run largely by volunteers. Despite the challenges of running a free community event on the scale of Fuse, we are excited to yet again offer a top quality and eclectic line up of artistes and activities throughout the weekend. Here is the line up so far!

We had to bring back the award winning, tank top wearing, undisputed kings of parody and Fuse Festival favourites The Bar-Steward Sons of Val Doonican!
The Allergies
BBC 6 Music favourites
The Allergies, to whom making funky music is a must, will be bringing their amazing breaks, funky basslines, horns and dancefloor grooves to Beacon Park.

The Equators
Real deal ska and reggae pioneers The Equators have reformed and are ready to hit the road again, 31 years since the release of their classic album Hot! on Stiff Records.

Blue Nation
Euphoric three-piece Blue Nation use riff-based melodic blues rock from a reservoir of influences, including Beatles, Cream, Zeppelin, Brit Pop 90’s, to create their own memorable sound.
Those Fine Strangers
Those Fine Stranger will be bringing explosive ska, punk and reggae vibes from Coventry, the hometown of bands such as The Specials, The Primitives and The Selecter,
Alex Ohm
Midlands-based songsmith Alex Ohm’s alternative, cinematic symphonies reflect the range of influences that inspire his work and come together to create his band’s unique and award-winning sound.
DJ Thumpa
Fuse Festival favourite and Lichfield’s very own Chapel of Chaos DJ Thumpa makes a very welcome return to the decks in 2022!
Lucas D And The Groove Ghetto
Flamboyant acid jazz outfit featuring virtuoso musicians and amazing female vocals playing eclectic tunes from the 60s and 70s right up to contemporary jazz funk.
Not Quite Dead Yet
A rowdy bunch of middle aged lads and gals, playing ukeleles, guitars, banjos, drums and bass, having a blast at Fuse for the first time.
Mark Fraser Storytelling
What a joy! A beautiful storytelling tent for children where maestro Mark works on a story with the input from everyone present (all weekend).
Fusion Dance
Popular Fuse regulars, Fusion Dance group will be showing off its latest amazing routines on Saturday 9th July.
Liberty Jamboree
Makaton signing workshop – ever wanted to know the basics of sign language? Well now’s your chance on Sunday 10th July!
BFAB
Stage school for children and adults with learning, sensory, physical and hidden disabilities performing catchy dance routines in costume on Saturday.
Damon Conlan Magic
Ever-popular Fuse regular, offering close up magic at its finest! Damon Conlan will be perfoming astounding tricks to amaze and entertain. Catch him around the arena all weekend.
Fun Club Hub
The award-winning youth and community providers are bringing their fun activities for young people and teens to Fuse on Friday and Saturday, with arts and crafts, clothes swap and face glitter.
Nurture Community CIC
Nurture bring together all elements of society to provide activities on Saturday and Sunday for children and families. Look out for their separate programme and book in for the slots with limited numbers.
Silhouette Dance Academy
The dancers from Silhouette Dance Academy will welcome you into our Sunday celebration of dance, in conjunction with the Lichfield Festival. Dancers of all ages will show off their dance moves and tumbling prowess!
Flotsam The Fool Circus Skills
Try plate spinning, diablo, juggling, unicycle riding, hula hoops and poi sticks with Amber and Doug! And look out for them in the evening on their site walkabout on stilts in their illuminated outfits! All weekend.
Mel Wardle Woodend Poetry
In conjunction with the WORD Stafford group and Lichfield Poets the Staffordshire Poet Laureate Mel will be running spoken word sessions on Sunday. They will be joined by young adults from Liberty Jamboree who will do Makaton signing alongside.
Midlands Open Mic
Sessions run by Julie, a well-respected open mic organiser. A fantastic array of performers of all styles, ages and genres on Saturday and Sunday.
Sport Active Lichfield Sports Activities
Sporting challenges and opportunities to try activities that you might never have done before. Beat the goalie, archery, boxfit and more!
The Bubble and Games Man
Simon Smolenskis offers giant bubbles and fantastic handmade wooden games specially designed for children with special needs.
Ben of the Green
Musical Comedy on Friday. A pyscho nautical voyager of the end times , a digiridoo dangler and other worldly performer who casts the audience in ever deepening realms of unfathomable mystery, who hoops like a harlequin, juggles like a mime addled pixie, and plays comically bewitching ballads.
Kamala Rugeley Tribal Dance
Fat Chance Belly Dance (FCBD) is a modern style of improvisational belly dance, a fusion form inspired by folkloric dances of the Middle East, North Africa, Spain and India and includes the use of swords! Watch this unique
display on Friday and take the chance to learn a few moves at the end!
Day of Dance
This year we’re collaborating with The Lichfield Festival! As part of their 40th Anniversary celebrations, we’ll be hosting their ‘Day of Dance’ in our Momentum Marquee on Sunday 10th July. They’ll be running an inspiring programme of free dance workshops with the best dance artists in a bid to get you dancing, no matter your age, ability or experience!
