Lichfield Fuse Festival 2020

Lichfield Fuse Festival 2020

Lichfield Arts ran the first Fuse Festival in Beacon Park back in 2001 with the aim of providing live music and activities in a free setting that would be accessible to all, so we are celebrating our 19th birthday in 2020! (Dates and line up for Fuse 2020 to be announced soon)

Fuse has grown beyond its humble beginnings into one of the largest free community events of its kind in Staffordshire and the West Midlands, attracting around 18,000 visitors in 2019.

Although so much has changed, the core values and objective remain the same – the Lichfield Arts Fuse team continues to work hard to provide an opportunity for everyone to access a wide variety of live music and the arts. Despite funding pressures, Fuse remains a free entry event, something the team remain immensely proud of.

Lichfield Fuse Festival has been a huge success for Lichfield Arts but we now need new people to join the organising team to help keep it going and become even bigger and better.

The festival brings thousands of people together over a whole weekend each July to enjoy a diverse range of music, creative/performing arts and much more in Beacon Park, Lichfield in a family-friendly, community-spirited atmosphere.

As Lichfield Fuse Festival continues to grow, we are looking for new people to join our management and co-ordinating teams. We are particularly in need of help with project management, booking infrastructure and performers, fundraising and dealing with compliance issues. It's hard but extremely rewarding work from November to July in a very friendly, supportive team.

If you love Fuse and think you have skills which could help it run (or know someone who has) please get in touch with us now by emailing fuse@lichfieldarts.org.uk. Don't forget it's YOUR free festival so please get involved!

Lichfield Arts

Every year Lichfield Arts organises several hugely popular festivals with the Blues & Jazz festival in June, Fuse in Beacon Park in July and L2F – The Lichfield Festival of Folk in October. We also run two beer festivals in the Guildhall each year so there really is something for everyone. For more details visit the Lichfield Arts Website
