Lichfield Fuse Festival takes place in Beacon Park Lichfield, within easy walking distance of Lichfield city bus station and Lichfield city train station.
Getting to Lichfield
By Car: Lichfield is less than 20 minutes from the M42/M6/M40 and a short distance form the A38/A5
There will be no parking on site but car parks are available across the city in particular Friary Car Park, WS13 6QE is a multistory car park within a short walking distance. Please click here for a Lichfield city car park map
By Bus:Regular services from Burton, Tamworth, Stafford and Cannock to Lichfield bus/rail interchange.
By Rail: Regular services run from London Euston to Lichfield Trent Valley and from Crewe to Lichfield Trent Valley and there is a regular service from Birmingham New Street to Lichfield City.
As organisers we are keen to ensure that Fuse is accessible to all.
Fuse Festival is hosted at Beacon Park which is predominantly flat but is a grassed area.The main entrances to Beacon Park from Bird Street are slightly sloped and wide enough for wheel chairs and mobility scooters. The entrance to the park from Swan Road is level and wide. There are paths that lead from the park entrances to the festival site and are wide enough for wheel chair or mobility scooter users although some may have slight slopes. There are no steps within the park or with in the festival site.
There will be a small quantity of priority seating available within the festival marquees for people who are pregnant, disabled or less able to stand. There will also be a wheelchair user viewing platform at the rear of the Evolution marquee.
Festival goers are welcome to bring their own fold up seats. If used in the marquees, this will be at the discretion of the Marquee Manager, who will take into account the overall needs of the audience and audience safety.
There are designated disabled car parking spaces in all three of Beacon Park’s car parks. These are on Greenhough Rd (WS13 7AW), Shaw Lane (WS13 7AG) and Bunkers Hill (the closest to the festival site – Lower Sandford St, Lichfield WS13 6RA). The entrances from these car parks are slightly sloped (around 5%). There is further disabled parking at Friary Car Park as listed above.
There will be an accessible toilet in each block of toilets on site at Fuse. Changing Places toilets are available in the Friary Car Park and can be accessed by anyone with a radar key. Friary Car Park is approximately a 12 minute walk from the festival site.
The first aid tent will be located near the entrance to the site and will be on hand for the entire festival
