Thank you! Your votes have meant that Fuse Festival and our parent organisation Lichfield Arts have been shortlisted in three categories of the Midlands What’s On Readers Awards 2018!
First Fuse has been shortlisted at category 13, Best Midlands Arts/ Cultural Festival. Then, having scrolled down and selected Staffordshire at the Regional Awards category 29, we are shortlisted twice. Lichfield Guildhall, the main live music venue used by Lichfield Arts, is shortlisted at category 31 Best Live Music Venue In Staffordshire. And Fuse has been shortlisted again at category 32 Best Staffordshire Festival. As a charity passionate about involving the community in music and the arts this is a big deal, and it would mean the world if you could vote for us now in the final round against all three categories, which you can do by clicking here:
Lichfield Fuse Festival 2018 – Friday 13th to Sunday 15th July
Lichfield Fuse festival was originally set up back in 2001 by Lichfield Arts with the aim of providing live music in a free setting that would be accessible to all.
Fuse has grown beyond its humble beginnings in a small tent near Stowe Pool into one of the largest free community events of its kind in Staffordshire. Now housed within Beacon Park, Fuse will be in its 17th year in 2018.
Although so much has changed, the core values and objective remain the same – the Lichfield Arts Fuse team continues to work hard to provide an opportunity for everyone to access a wide variety of live music and the arts. Despite funding pressures, Fuse remains a free entry event, something the team remain immensely proud of.
